What are you using for SMD tweezer probes?

What are you using for SMD tweezer probes?
I am having trouble measuring these little buggers with my DMM and especially the Sencore LC-102.

I need long leads and single hand probe.

The Chinese have a cute probe for not much money.  I looked it over and decided to pass, but it might suffice for your needs.  I want something that supports 4-wire Ohms.

I bought some 'Kelvin clips' from China and they work but are a bit poor regarding holding on to things.  I modified them with a drop of solder and it helps only a little.  You could use those well enough if you are willing to hold them in place.  Come to think of it, I have a spare one so maybe I could use that for SMD parts.

It's good enough for casual measurements but if you want capacitance or inductance it's not what you want.  In those cases, a shielded bridge is an answer.  Certainly checking for bad semiconductors is well within its ability.

Just go on ebay and ask for test leads or test clips.

If you're gunna do lots or get right into SMD then get some proper SMD Smart tweezers.
You can spend $100's but for entry level ones the Mastec ones are just OK.

LCR Research or Smart Tweezer ST5-S are the decent tools for SMD.
I've an old ST3 set that I use instead of a DMM for everything but voltage and current measurements, TH or SMD. If it busted tomorrow I'd replace it in an instant with a more modern version.

Long leads are a problem hard to solve
Price is not worthy for regular bench or hobby gear

ANENG was selling such affordable probes...
but quality is really below the line...

The cable used to achieve price and length is .. well (unprintable)

So I ditch the crappy cable and replaced that with a normal
regular DMM CAT cable line.

The inner of the tweezers are plastic.. a bit of tinkering
a clever joint and an extra heat shrink tubing...

RESULT IS GOOD.  Hardly you will find such thing at that price..

thanks to extra isolation and damn good cable and joints
impedance for measuring RLC is acceptable... made enough tests
