Resistor weird color code
« on: April 15, 2019, 12:27:17 pm »
Hello
I am trying to repair a Power Supply , and beside a blown chip it has an resistor that i meassure with 2 mohm in the circuit what doesn't seem right for me but i can't read it because it has 2 times gold in the middle and gold shouldn't be in the 3. band.
The color code is red red gold gold green .

I also attached a picture of the resistor

Thanks
Ramiro

Thanks 2.2 was right the psu is working fine now , just a little confusing that you have to ignore a band.
