Restoration of old Sony ICF 6700W receiver

Hello,  Im a 79 year old retired Ham radio amateur. (N3CWH),  I am restoring an old Somy ICF6700W receiver.  I'm a little shaky and my eyesight isn't so hot.  The S meter is sticking badly. m I tried a number of things to no avail.  Is there anyone who can repair this meter for me.  I'm willing to pay.
