rf fet buffer output "bandaid" amp or txf
« on: October 22, 2022, 06:18:30 pm »
due to an eternal grade gremlin inside a gorler tuner gang, that shall live in infamy, i need to figure out a signal booster.

either a simple circuit utilizing the 5v supply, i have some bc547 npn in stock, or a step up transformer that can handle 70-110 mega hertz bandwidth.  there is approximately 200mv pk-pk of rf from the fet buffer and at most i would need 1.5v rms rf to feed the next headache (posted in another thread).

i wonder if something like this would work, only with bc547 through-hole instead of bfp740 smt??

i seem to be spending too much time on mouser trying to drill down component specifications and alternatives.
