RHODE&SCHWARZ HM0724 signal reading problem
« on: February 22, 2021, 12:17:20 pm »
hello, I have a rhode&schawrz hm0724 that can't calibrate or read accurately signals.
when trying to calibrate or measure a signal the readings are flickering or jumping all over the screen.
I have recently bought it for cheap and I am totally new to oscilloscope. And I want to build a small electronics workshop.

I have tried triggering, changing all the settings, and reinitialized it but still having the same issues.
And I'm starting to think the problem is internal.

Can anyone help?

well depending on how much new... the task is heavy load

Start by trying a service manual to at least familiarize yourself
with a very complex (and very capable) device ..

Try this reference available here on eevb

Perhaps something close helps as well
