| RIFA capacitor replacement |

Hello everyone, I have two old rifa caps in a snubber circuit(I guess). I couldnt find any document about them, please can you advise me modern caps instead of these rifas. |

Safety film capacitors. Rated X2 or Y2 depending on whether they are L - N or L/N - EARTH/CHASSIS. |

If no safety caps are required you could use Wima MKP series. |

They can be replaced with regular polypropylene capacitors. Polyester should be fine too in most cases. |

They are most often found on primary side, including filters etc. I stand by my recommendation. |
