Title: Rigol DL3021 Screen Crash

Dont know what happened. I powered it up, it ran for a while and then suddenly the screen became full of vertical bar and eventually dead. It seems functions are ok, as I can hear the buzzer, LED lits while selecting option with knob and button.

Is the LCD used really that bad quality that it died after couple of use ?

Is it under warranty ?? 

If not  maybe you could poke inside to see if the lcd ribbon maybe disconneted in a way, or not aligned correctly in the connectors ??

It is solved now ....

I lifted up the machine around 3 inch and dropped it . actually gave it a hard jerk !! :D and its ok now !  :-DD

Probably the ribbon connection is loose. I will open it and fix it :)

First rule of troubleshooting...pick it up a few inches and drop it!  :-DD
