Rigol DP711 Fan errror
« on: December 22, 2023, 03:10:27 am »
I have picked up this power supply for free(it was scrapped at my workplace, actually two of them)
After turning it on, comes up the fan error message, and the output is disabled because of it.
Also got another one, with the positive binding post broken off. Otherwise it works great.
Switched all three PCBs between them, but error is still there. So I'm assuming it that must be a software issue.
Anybody encountered such an issue before?
I can't seem to find that binding post either.
It is custom made by Rigol?
Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks, but mine does not even turn on properly.
That thread may help in the future, when I manage to revive it first.
There is a way to reset it, or do a forced firmware update? I know that a firmware is not available. Maybe somebody has a dump?
