Rigol DP832 Voltage Jumping Around
« on: February 26, 2021, 06:46:50 pm »
I have a DP 832 which I've had for about 10 years.
It's worked great this whole time.

Recently, the voltage on channel 2 started wandering around.
Usually it's only off by a volt or so, but sometimes it's been more.
It even does it when there's no load.
It's not a steady offset either, the voltage jumps around rapidly without any change to the load or settings.

Current regulation seems to be fine.
The other 2 channels seem ok.

Any ideas what could have gone wrong?
Would like to try a repair, although if someone knows a good repair shop in the Melbourne area, happy to outsource.

Thanks in advance.

Another pic just to show what happens with all 3 channels active and no load on any of them.
