Title: R&S FSEB30 Display Backlight
Post by: phillip.hodges on February 15, 2017, 08:03:26 pm
Hi, I recently bought an FSEB30, however, the screen has started to go very dark. I believe it is the backlight tube!? The actual picture is perfect so I don't think it is an issue with the LC.

Does anyone know where I might get a replacement set of tubes? Or if there is an alternative available? - I did see a thread a while back where someone replaced the tubes with a strip of LEDs.

Thanks in advance,

Phil

Certainly seems to be an issue with the R&S LCD panels, I started a thread for information more than anything with some detail on the CCFL in the CMU200 but my fault was the reflectors around the tube had broken loose and were masking the the light output.

There's a link in the last reply from another member who had successfully replaced the CCFL with LED
