I follow the description but unfortunately there is no .hex file in the SMEENG folders.
I don't know what I'm doing wrong?

The firmware is the file "sm3.bin" and it is transformed into sm3.hex by the DOS batchfile "update.bat".
Of course, everything must run under pure DOS, not under Windows 10 x64....

I used a pure DOS 6.22 computer
unfortunately there are still no HEX files to select in the folders.
I don't know what to do next.

From there I got the firmware.

I already have this software from this website.
I converted the SO3.bin file to SO3.hex and manually uploaded the software.
Unfortunately, damage to the processor board. is more
complicated. (I bought a damaged one, I thought to fix it, but I think it remains to buy a working CPU board)
The damage gives an error message as in the photo.

I fixed the generator.   
It was necessary to replace the EPROM memory from 1024 to 2048 and manually enter the " UPLOAD SMEENG " command in DOS.

I had read something in the instructions about old pcb with less Flash memory but I didn't know which version you had.

I also did not know what EPROM memory I have until I removed the sticker on it.
