R&S SMU200A calibration software

Hi all,

I have a new (to me) SMU200A which I'd like to calibrate. I think there is a software package similar to the SMIQ which I can't find anywhere. Can someone please share that with me?

External Adjustments Requiring Measurement Equipment
The external adjustments require calibrated equipment and special software. Data sheet specifications
of the unit are concerned. If required, contact your local Rohde & Schwarz representative.

It was mentioned in the service manual. you might want to contact Rohde.

I have a ticket open with Rohde but am not hopeful. There is a tool for download in the software section to adapt levelling which could be the one but would like to know for sure.

yes, this is the right software, you need some prerequisites, I quote:

"required:
Mathworks Matlab Runtime Engine Version 7.14 (R2010B)
(must be installed separately)

Features:
- R&S SMx-K63 User-defined frequency response correction for R&S SMU200A and R&S SMATE200A (requires SMx firmware 2.04.104.45 or higher).
- Service frequency response corrections for R&S SMU200A, R&S SMJ100A, R&S SMATE200A, R&S SFU, R&S AMU200A, R&S AFQ100A and R&S AFQ100B.
Further details and the devices required for the corrections can be found in the manual.

For correct operation, we recommend the following installation sequence:
1. driver for the GPIB card.
2. National Instruments or Agilent VISA library (only required for remote control via USB or LAN).
Recommended versions:
- NI Visa 3.4 or higher
- Agilent IO library M 01.01 or higher
3. Mathworks Matlab Runtime Engine Version 7.14 (R2010B).
4. SMx RF and BB correction toolkit.
5. NRP Toolkit and the NRP-Z driver for VXI Plug&Play (only required for NRP-Z).
Recommended versions:
- NRP Toolkit 1.5.7 or higher
- NRP-Z VXIPnP driver 1.6.2 or higher."

if you have found Mathlab 714, I would be interested in it.

I have found Matlab 7.14, now I could install the R&S programme, to run it asks for the 7.14.SP2 and suitable DLL's...

I got the software to run, PM me for the necessary DLLs. You need a vector analyzer though which I don‘t have (and which would need cal, too). I sent mine off for cal in the end.
