Samsung LCD T240 lines on display
« on: October 19, 2020, 09:53:04 pm »
I bought this used LCD i did not know it already has problem, when i turn it on mostly it starts with Image A, and then slowing changes to Image B, C, I opened the LCD and checked connections as in Image Inside.jpg both connection type A and B looks good,

When i plugged in HDMI it start giving me perfectly good image but after 15 minutes it went like this again, after trying it happened 2/3 times again that i got perfectly good image and then after 10/15 minutes it got lines back

Can someone help what could be the issue.

poke ribbons with a stick once lines start showing up, if screen doesnt change at all when poking its inside the glass and unfixable

Please refer to image inside.jpg if connector type B having issue how can i fix it, do i need to put some hot air? if yes what would be the suitable temperature? i added new pictures, some time some part of screen is enabled and refreshed, but some time its all good.

much older, less dense and easier to repair ribbon:

but I wouldnt go near modern LCD glass with hotair, in factory and professional repair settings its done with a hotbar machine like here

First locate exact spot where touching fixes the picture, then try touching it up with temperature controlled soldering iron, start with 250 Celcius like the setup on the tab bonding machine (profile was set at 245C 16 seconds)
