Need help to figure out TV repair. I have replaced the XBUP board then blew fuses! Model number is FPT6347X/XXA or internal model # S63FH- X801 |
| DavidAlfa:
Start by disconnecting everything and powering the PSU alone. If the fuse survives, proceed connecting the mainboard, then the others, but only one a a time, until you find the one blowing the fuse. |

Thank you for the reply. Sorry to be such a newb but need clarification. Psu is power supply unit? The power cable comes into the TV and then goes directly to a very big pcb that i assume is the main board. So disconnect all out going cables to like the x main y main etc? I have a service manual for a Samsung plasma tv but it is not my model . I’ve looked but found no specific manual for my model. That would really help me out if you knew where i could look for that! I need to get a couple of fuses still. Could you recommend source for reasonable small electronic parts? I miss my neighborhood Radio Shack! It was four blocks from my house and i could quickly get little things there quickly. Amazon, eBay ali baba aren’t priced reasonable or shipping is more than the fuse! |

Nothing comes up when I google FPT6347X/XXA. Look for a label on the chassis of the plasma TV. Once you have the back cover off. There should be a different model # there. It may lead you to a service manual. Mouser or digi-key are good places to source electronic components. |
