Samsung UE55KS8090 with vertical stripes - Tcon-board?

Hello. I have a Samsung UE55KS8090 that has stripes as shown here: http://imgur.com/a/HP551KU

It's about 4 years old and suddenly has this problem. These stripes turn on and off, I think this might be because it is only showing a message about how the box is not connected or something, not sure. I took some more images here: http://imgur.com/a/6VLPHDN

I read that this points to a faulty tcon board or faulty connector(s). There was some damage to a stripe (as seen in Image below), I suspect it's the connection to the panel. There is a hole in it: http://imgur.com/a/0NcQIiI

How high is the possibility that it's not completely gone? Thank you!

That means it's time to scrap the TV, there's no way you will be able to repair this.

Thank you for your answer. That's a shame to hear... It is what it is though, so I will be looking for a new device.
