As said the problem is that i cannot find a direct sapre, however if you go to aliexpress you can find generic 128*64 display "arduino compatible" like this:
The question is: would be possible to adapt one of those generic LCD to my MP3 player? You can look the schematic that i linked, so you can suggest something situable for my purpose.
What about this? It seems compatible and have 18pins:http://www.coineltech.com/128x64-graphical-lcd-tm12864h6ccgwa-1you can also see the datasheet
Because i've broken it and now is in the bin . Is it possible to know the controller from the service manual of the device? Why do you say that the controller MUST be different? And BTW the lcd didn't have any controller onboard, maybe a chip on glass. The number on the flex cable is:TM12864D9GCWG FP-4A picture from a link online http://www.audioevideoservice.it/product.php~idx~~~597~~display~.htmlThanks.
Solved! I smashed the damn thing into 1000 pieces and throwed away. FUCK YOU SAMSUNG and your custom parts. I now ordered a sony, which i know will be an equally pain in the ass in case of repair. Always hated custom parts.
