Schematic Harrison Model 865C Power Supply
« on: March 12, 2017, 07:23:56 pm »
Hi,

I bought at a flea market power supply, a Harrison type "Model 865C"
To do a good checkup i need a schematic and i cant find one  :(

Does anyone has this schematic for me, I can only find companies that sell a schematic well above the price I paid for this power supply.

This is a picture op the power supply.

Kind regarts,
Blackdog

Well, to be fair, some of the views could be search bots, and not everyone who reads a topic knows how to provide assistance.
Now, as for the subject at hand, I was unable to find a (free) schematic/service manual. However, it's often possible to repair things without one.
So if you'll specify what the exact issue is (and maybe provide some pics of the internals) I'm sure someone would be able to help you out.

Hi RayRay,

Thanks for your remarks :-)
I Know its a old power supply, about 53 years...
And the age of course is the reason i can't find a schematic, and its a little obscure unit.

Harrison is the brand that designed the schematic that almost all brand use if they design a good benchtop power supply.

I payd 15$ for this power supply and a manual with the shipping cost is between 30 and 50$ to send it to the Netherlands, no way that i pay this amound of money, i'am old but not stupid.  :-DD
The power supply is now in working condition afther a good cleanup and on a Dutch Forum i wanted to explane the schematic of this unit, just fore fun.

Kind regarts,
Bram

Look here.  There is a picture of 90% of the supply.

The day Al Gore was born there were 7,000 polar bears on Earth.
Today, only 26,000 remain.
