My PM3219 has a constantly lit up screen except during autostorage mode, which is odd. From youtube videos and documentation I've gathered that this is not supposed to be this way. I've followed the calibration steps in the manual but am unable to reduce this constant screen brightness, regardless of this probably being related to the storage mode, it seems to be able to still store though the image is faint. In normal operation I can still see the trace over the well lit background but its making it hard to operate how do I go about debugging and fixing this?

I think it might be the issue philips described where the storage mode is always active as seen in this service document.

will report if this procedure helped (and even was applicable by testing if g9 is at 110v regardless of mode).
