sencore sc61 scope
« on: June 09, 2023, 08:10:35 pm »
hi all, this scope works good except for the digital readout. the readout displays all the parameters its capable of measuring. if you select one parameter, ie frequency nothing changes on the display. did anyone have the same problem with this scope? if not, hopefully an educated guess at what could be wrong?

Did you follow the directions in the manual??

I believe the trace needs to be on the screen and stable (triggered) for the fist method of obtaining the freq.  ie Main Counting Channel. This measures the frequency of the signal used to trigger the scope.
There are two methods of obtaining the freq readout which are described in the manual. The second method requires a larger signal.
See if either of these methods work.

prior to this present problem, i had no trouble reading the freq output. i've had the scope for awhile now and it worked fine on p-p volt and freq.
