Service Manuals for Some Old Marantz Gear
« on: February 28, 2016, 05:18:47 pm »
Recently I friend of mine found a very old Marantz system his father had, since he was going to dump the whole thing he contacted me first to know if I wanted it and of course I picked up everything, the only problem I have now is that I could only find the service manuals for the CD-52 mkII CD player and the PM54 amplifier, but the tape deck, tuner, and graphic equalizer all need some work, so if anyone could point me to the service manual or at least a schematic for the following items it would be really appreciated:

  • EQ-20D Graphic Equalizer
  • SD255 Cassete Deck
  • ST360L Tuner

Thanks in advance,
Nathan

Yes, I did quite a lot of googling and wasn't able to find anything for those listed above.

This is a good site for Marantz information, although I couldn't find anything for those specific models.

http://www.hifiengine.com/manual_library/marantz/

Maybe you can find a related model that will have something close enough to be useful.  You have to register to download.

I did find complete schematics and service manuals for my 2245 though  ;D

It might be worth a post there to see if anyone has a pointer to what you need.
