Sharetree Type 450 Signal Generator
« on: October 29, 2017, 01:41:16 pm »
I did ask about this a few months ago and nobody seemed to have heard of this make at all so were unable to give me any information. However with new people joining all the time I thought that I'd give it another shot as I'd really like to get this working it is nice and compact, covers the bands of interest for domestic radios which is perfect for my requirements if only I could get it repaired.

It was built in Britain by Sharetree Ltd, in Stroud, Gloucestershire.

Is this bringing back any distant memories? Are you able to throw any light on this at all please, seems a shame to have it sitting there gathering dust or going to landfill.

EDIT:
It was made the Parametron Division of Sharetree Ltd and it seems that Parametron is unique and special oscillator so I'm guessing that maybe this company was active in that field years ago and that this generator possibly uses that type of oscillator?
