Sharp System W30H BK Stereo CD not Working

Dear,

I have bought a nice Sharp Stereo system
it is a W30H(BK). It comes in a nice wooden cabinet and thats why i love it so much.
I bought it at an thrift shop it was labeled as a cd drive that wouldt open.
I manage to replace te string and fix that issue but it still wont play any cd's
i even tried adjusting the potentiometer to the laser diode hoping this would fix it.
But it didnt. 
I thought i already asked for advice on this forum but i couldnt finf my post?
Was it in the wrong subject? cause i posted it in Beginner.

Can u help me fix the problem?

Don't touch any potentiometers, turn it back to where it has been adjusted to (I hope you do remember the position). The laser is probably burnt by now.
If the mechanism doesn't read CDs, it most likely needs to be replaced. Check the mechanism for the part number, quick googling came up with KSM213 (that would be around 15 EUR on Aliexpress), but don't order yet, check first!

Before taking everything apart, did you clean the lens? A Qtip and some IPA (some window cleaner probably will do, too) will do. (Careful not to damage the mechanic part of the laser pickup).

Okay, Well i would turn it back to it's original state.
I did try to clean it. that didnt solve the issue for me...
Where did u find this KSM213 type because i was barely able to find the manual?
Also some guy told me that older CD players had a limit to 650mb instead of 700mb.
Can u tell me something about this? I tried playing MJ 's Thriller in it but that wouldnt work...
Since i wasnt able to find as many info as u i couldnt figure out wich year the player was manufactered...

I sincerely hope i am able to get the cd player working....

Digging a bit around, the service manual cover page states the CD mechanism is from a Sharp DX-612, which leads to the pickup part number RCTRH0053AFZZ (sorry, was mislead by the KSM213).
Again, before ordering, do confirm first!

Hi There!

Because i am not able to find the right mechanism or the manual
i decided to open it up and i took a lot of pictures.
I also happen to need a new string on the LP mechanism.
I will Upload the pictures and i have some more but it refused to post it online.

So i will upload the most relevant..

So it seems by the looks of it, RCTRH0053AFZZ is the right part (might reduce the search to RCTRH0053AF).
However, finding that pickup seems to be very difficult, you might need to extract it from another player (which is, according to ebay, not a lot easier to get hold of):

I spend this night looking till 3 am and i wasnt able to find anyone either.
So i tried adjusting the lens one more time. 
This resulted after a couple of time in the disc actually spinning but it thrown an error.
When i took the CD out i found out that the laser had "burned"a scratch in it.
I am going to try a local electronic store tomorrow and i go visit thrift shop stores this wednesday.
So i hope i am able to solve it
