Hi everyone, me and my friend were trying to build a diy laser engraver and we had both 5v and 12v adapters next to each other, as you have guessed we accidentally connected the 12v adapter to the laser and damaged it, the laser still lights up but output is very weak, we're still very new to circuits so i'm guessing that as long as the laser diode turns on then it should work again given i fix the bad component(s)? i wanted to take advice if there's a chance it will work if i replace the melted component?
I honestly couldn't identify it using the printed numbers and searching google so if anyone could tell me how to read and search the value of it and if you think it will work by changing that 1 part?
Here's a link to the laser:

Thank you.
