Hi,
I've managed to buy a not working Siemens D1032 (GOULD 1602) scope. Scope was completly dead. After checking voltages on PSU, I've found that +5V rail reads 6 volts. After some soldering, the rail went normal 5V and scope went kinda on. The power LED is lit, and "ON" LED on channel 1 is constantly blinking at 1 second interval. No more signs of life. CRT went on 2 times, for a few seconds, but there was only a dot visible. I've desoldered a leaky battery, few tracks were affected, but they look fine. Reseating all IC's didnt change nothing. MCU signals and quartz's look fine on a scope. Any idea what can I do/check next? Does anybody know what blinking ch1 "on" LED means? Im out of ideas.
