Siglent SDS 1104X-E screen display inverted with artifacts

Hello,

My Siglent SDS 1104X-E screen display is inverted. There are also digital artifacts on the right side of the display. (You can see on the soft key menu, now upside-down at the top of the screen, the blurred text.) It was on and running normally and the display just flipped.



This issue persists through reboots and I'm greeted with an upside down Siglent logo as it boots.

I'm looking for some advice and any guidance on troubleshooting the problem. I haven't opened it up yet, but plan to take a look later today.

Claim the 3yr warranty.....it's busted.

Good call but it's probably just something as simple as a display ribbon cable or connection however the scope must be completely dismantled to check it out properly as the display ribbon cable does not go directly to the display but to another connector on the back of the screen where the signal passes into the last ribbon that enters the insides of the panel.
Of course digging this deep needs some specialist tools and some good amount of care so a warranty return is best and let Siglent techs deal with it.

Thanks for the advice about the warrantee. I didn't realize Siglent had a 3 year warrantee on their devices. I got in contact with their support, got an RMA #, and shipped them the unit for repair. I'll post back once I've got the unit fixed and back in my hands.
