Small pozi screws

What is the smallest pozi sizes? Anyone know where I can find a drive that is compatible with pozi M1 screw?
What is actually is meant by size 0 pozi drive? Thanks.

Most screw drive systems use numbered sizes, which are defined in the standards. So a "size 0" Pozidriv screwdriver is a specific size, and that's the smallest one, as it happens. (Phillips, for example, goes much smaller.)

An M1 screw is tiny, so my hunch is that it's not Pozidriv at all, but rather Phillips or JIS (the old Japanese standard), because PZ0 would be way too big for an M1.

And if it is the older JIS..in my experience, required a "cross head" screw driver. standard phillips is beveled and may strip the the head, if tightly screwed in

Yup. What's super annoying is that apparently, the JIS standard was actually withdrawn some years ago, so many tool manufacturers quit making JIS drivers, despite the fact that probably billions of products were made using JIS screws over the years, and some of those will need servicing.

So if you go to buy JIS drivers now, you see some reviews indicating that they may not actually be true JIS after all… :( (I've been wanting to get a set.)
