SMD cap identification please
« on: January 17, 2025, 11:52:49 pm »
Hi all,

Could someone help me identifying brand and series of this SMD capacitor? it should be a 10uF, 35V.

I doubt it's a "Panasonic FN" series as the marking doesn't match what the datasheet says - plus Panasonic SMD caps have a much darker ink somehow!

The only thing I can find similar to an "SL" series online would be the generic "Multicomp" ones from Farnell but the datasheet doesn't say anything about the marking. This is assuming that "V" stands for 25V and "SL" is the series?

Thanks!

Are there more caps on the board that are similar? Any pattern in manufacturer?

I think I found them.

The 10uF and 1uF are the SL series, it's an obsolete Rubycon one. The marking matches the case

https://www.rubycon.co.jp/wp-content/uploads/catalog-aluminum/SLV.pdf

And I made a mistake, those 10uF are 35V, not 25V.

The 1uF is also the same series.

The 100uF should be this one: https://www.digikey.co.uk/en/products/detail/rubycon/25TXV100M6-3X8/3568657

But discovering the 10uF series was my main goal so happy days. Thanks for your help!
