Which connector is this?
« on: October 11, 2021, 06:46:02 pm »
Hi, i just played around with my AIM TTI PL303QMD PSU and noticed something strange. First the view button doesnt work anymore, which normally when the output is active should show the preset values and second, the output of the PSU remains on after powering it off and on, which shouldnt be like that. As the PSU consists of 2 PSUs internally, i checked the other side, which worked flawless. Now my question, i changed the fans for some quieter Noctua fans, and im planning on RMAing the PSU, as it still is under warranty. I wanted to install the original fans when sending it in, but i unfortunately cut the connectors off the original ones, to use the Noctua fans. Can anyone tell me, which connector was used?

Looks like MTA-100. And I see little sense in changing the fans in this PSU. Improvements will be marginal, unless you screw up the airflow to make it less noisy when fans spin up under high load.

Nice, that looks like its the right one. Regarding the fan, i am a little too sensitive to bearing noise, that was the main reason ;) Thanks for the quick answer
