Hi, thanks for taking time out to read my message

l have acqiured a Soniq QASA, probably 5yrs old. l would like to place this TV into my kids room, but l have found that the picture is lagging. The sound is good, but as objects of the screen move they leave a streak and if the objects finally stop, then the streak finally catches up and the object and then becomes clear, until it moves again. The colours seem out of wack as well. The only way l can discribe the colours is intense. l have tried to use the settings to turn them down without luck.

lm hoping that someone can give me an idea on where to start and how to fix this problem

Sounds like it needs a new Tcon board.

check capacitors on tcon, sounds like one of them is going bad
