I have a SONY BVM-9044D with a faulty power button. When pressing it, it won't stay in the engaged position but goes back to "off" when letting it go. When pressing it and holding it, it works fine.
As a workaround I wedged the button in the "on" position with a match and I turn the monitor on by means of plugging it in.
I'd like to repair it though. Can the button be repaired or replaced with a new part? On the outside the button looks like the square version that can be found on virtually all PVM/BVM monitors.
