Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact Schematic?
« on: August 17, 2020, 09:50:39 am »
So, after a water damage my Phone's Touchscreen registers ghost-touches...
Opening it, i see a blown cap. (i guess) next to the screen connector.
I could not google a service manual to figure it's value, does anyone here have access to one, or has an idea where to get access to?

Looks like its just for decoupling to me. Check if one side connects to ground, if it does then it's only there to clean up the DC signal. However if it has failed it may be shorted to ground and hence you are getting problems.

Simply removing the cap and cleaning the area to ensure there is no short may be all that is required.
