Source for 5mm round silicone pushbutton

Hi All,

I’ve got a bad pushbutton switch in a Kikusui bench power supply. It’s caused by a tear in the springy silicone “cone” with the black contact in the center. Looks more or less like what’s shown here:

Any guess at what sort of switch I could pull one of these out of? It’s got to be 5mm diameter or very close. Suspect a lot of small, momentary switches have them but hoping to avoid buying a bunch of different ones trying to find the right size piece.

You might want to look around the house for an old TV remote. The ones with soft buttons often have the same sort of silicone cones moulded into a sheet. With some scissors, a craft knife and a bit of ingenuity you might be able to come up with a free replacement plus spares. Just a thought.

Otherwise try ebay or equivalent, the magic term is 'conductive rubber contact'.
