st micro l387a

I have this oven controller that has failed and after testing voltages and various components without finding issue heated it up in another oven and tried and it worked. Once it cooled down it went basically dead again except for clicking noise through piezzo and faint flashes on digits of display.
So I got my butane solder pencil and heated various components one at a time until I discovered the l387a when heated would allow the board to come to life.
The voltage in and out is ok (+12 and +5) so I can only think the issue is in the reset circuit.
Does anyone know where I can get one fairly quickly or a suitable substitute. It appears to be an obsolete part.  :(

Thanks. There are a few on ebay but none local. I guess I will have to be patient.
