STM8 blue pill programming not working, GND pin no continuity repair

I just bought another two STM8 blue pill boards from aliexpress from this seller: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/4000044680163.html, both could not be programmed. I found out that the GND pin on the programming header was not connected to ground, probably internal ground did not connect to via or something. Anyway I added small bodge to ground plane and programming now works.

STM32F103C8T6 blue pill has much more resources...

You should ask for a refund and write a review detailing your experience.

Yes but consumes 30mA and STM8 only consumes 7mA
