SurfTab Duo W1 - factory reset from SD, SIM or USB-Stick possible?

Dears need your help,

my SurfTab running on Linux was set accidentally (stupid action from my side)
from single to dual channel inside BIOS.
Now I had trouble to boot the Tab.
No PWR + '+' key combination helps.

Do you have info's concerning a special keyboard key combination to reset the Tab.
Or do you know if a fail save start from SD, SIM or USB stick with a proper FW image
is possible and how the structure if exist has to be prepared?

Any useful hints are appreciated

PS.: I have attached some images from inside of the Tab. perhaps useful for someone.
The idea to upgrade the tab from 2GB RAM to 4GB would be nice but after opening
of the tab I could see that it is not possible as no additional RAM slot exist.
