TDS5/6/7xx Tristar DSP Instruction set - help?

Hi folks,

The heart of the TDS5/6/7xx graphics rendering from the AQU board is the Tristar DSP.
Does anyone have any technical details, the compiler, instruction set manual, or anything on this guy ?

Of course there is the excellent TDS520D Components manual that tells me where it is, roughly what it does and its pinout.
But I would like to know more about the internal operation and instruction set that the VxWorks loads instructions into it.
