Teensy 4.1 Ethernet problem
« on: April 04, 2023, 12:23:51 pm »
Hi everyone!

My Teensy 4.1 is connected to a pcb that has ethernet port. But I can't get connection. It looks that Teensy works fine through a serial port(USB) but when I trying to connect with an ethernet cable no
other devices can see the board(tried with a bunch of computers and router). I blame myself that I fried something while soldering.

Can anyone give me a hint how to check ethernet on Teensy? I have DMM and an oscyloscope. Any information is highly valuable! Thank you for your time!

You have to include the Ethernet support in your project of course. This varies by the environment used (PlatformIO,CircuitPython, etc). But until you do this you won’t have a MAC address, much less an IP address. What have you done to enable Ethernet on the software side?
