RX-485 and RX-V485 are not the same products.

Well that's not an old model, it's a current model released in 2018 it seems. Are you sure you cant get it repaired under warranty?

Maybe look at an older model. The power supply board is likely very similar.

Dave did a repair on a rx-v557 a while back. was a bad cap in the power supply that kept it from turning on.
could be a similar issue.
