Picked up a Tektronix 475 (high serial) at the local ham fest. Powers on, no trace or dot.
Picked up the service manual, ran through low voltage system checking TP voltages and resistances on the A9 board against the tables. Voltages seem fine. Resistances mostly fine, except the -15 power shows a very high Ohm reading and the related C1472 capacitor's resistance readings aren't showing similar behavior to its neighbors.
C1472 is 290-0583-00, 3000uF & 35vDC. Appears to be this guy:
https://www.qservice.tv/vpasp/shopexd.asp?id=9332&bc=noI'm not familiar with these PFP type electrolytics.
Am I looking at 4 pins that would need to be desoldered?
Can't seem to find exact replacement available right now. Any suggestions for alternative part?
