Tektronix 7623A Oscilloscope repair?
« on: March 26, 2022, 11:35:57 am »
Hello,

I am wondering if anyone here can repair my Tektronix 7623A Oscilloscope?
No green power up light and could be a recap issue...

Thank you and I will supply more details if you are interested in the fix!

You might try the tektronix repair groups and let people know your area this is not a scope I know
and many times it helps to know what not to do first. I like the 400 upper end and the 2200, 2400 series
and have much of the equipment to work on these.
From Orlando Fl area.

Bonjour,

Suggest the tekscopes and tekscopes2 forums on groups.io, rather than EEV blog.

https://groups.io/g/TekScopes2/topics

7xxx TEK have linear PSU issues with power transistor and regulator socket pins, rectifiers and dry lytic caps, check PSU first.

DL the serv manual at BAMA archives or TekWIKI

Bon chance
