Tektronix CSA7404B OS and other software

I'll be receiving a CSA7404B without a hard drive (and therefore no OS installed) in the coming days. I have a Tek TDS7104 with a working Windows 2000 installation. Will that work for the CSA7404B? If not, would I just need to supplement it with some applications and drivers? Where would I find those? If not, any ideas how to proceed? Thanks!

I downloaded a bunch of drivers and other software for the CSA7404B from https://www.tek.com/en/search?facets=_templatename=Software&keywords=csa7404b&page=1. If using the TDS7104 disk doesn't work, my plan is to do a fresh install of Windows 7 (or maybe Windows 2000 if that doesn't work) and install those drivers and software as needed.

if you have a win 98 or XP or win 2000 sticker on it, use the right windows,  you may face incompatibilities with more recent OS

Good to know. It's got a Windows 2000 sticker on it, which is also what my TDS7104 uses, so I'll use that.

Aside from any OS related  issues the Scope Application version is very different.  The TDS7104 uses older style hybrid front ends and the TDS7KB uses preamps, Teledyne relays and more.

I downloaded several versions of the TekScope application from the Tek website. They state the device compatibility and the versions I downloaded (2.7 and 3.9) include the TDS7104 and CSA7404B, along with a long list of other units, so it looks like the same version of the tekscope application covers a lot of scopes. Am I wrong?
