Hi, I am looking to repair a Tek DPO7254C that fails SPC, but the diagnosis and everything else passes and works well. Tektronix and some third parties charge an arm and a leg to repair and I cannot afford that. From discussions online and with people who have repaired them, it seems like it is likely something with the acquisition board. I plan to open it soon and look for leaking capacitors or anything obvious but does anyone have experience with possibly these scopes and common failures? I see some videos with relay replacement on the TDS series but I'm not sure if that may also possibly be the issue for this oscope.

you should had posted on the main tds 7000 series thread,

you did not post the error codes  and maybe you have an nvram battery failure, who's common in theses  ...

having this failure will give error codes in spc check,  bad nvram config too
