AWA Carphone and Tela Verta receiver

Hi,

I found a couple of interesting items at a antique shop today (I probably spent more money then I should have to buy them, $120 for the two)

One is a AWA Carphone radio, very little informations on it, I don't know what voltage supply it needs or what frequency it works on.










The other is a little AM receiver, in relatively good condition, the bakelite case doesn't have a crack and the knobs turn freely.













Any informations about them would be useful. I'm definitely going to restore the AM receiver first. I don't know much about the radio, I will probably have to learn about dummy loads and so forth as I don't expect to be told I can put it on air.
