Tektronix TCP0030 Probe "Overload" condition after 20 min warmup
« on: February 04, 2022, 06:59:39 pm »
I have a Tektronix TCP0030 current probe that will have an "Overload" fault after warming up.  I took the compensation assembly apart but could not visually find any problems with it.  I inspected the probe head itself as well.  I am wondering if anybody knows of the fix for this specific problem.  Tektronix no longer sells the parts for these and probably not worth it to spend too much time troubleshooting it but the customer still wants it fixed of course.  Any help is appreciated, thanks!

Thanks, yeah I ended up sending it back as is but now I know not to accept these in the future for this problem.
