usb speakers have emc problems
« on: July 27, 2020, 05:00:15 am »
i just got some cheap usb speakers with no external power (Logitech s150) and when I plug them into my PC it works but there is that emc static. on my laptop it works fine leading me to believe that its emc related. ik how to fix emc with power with a mains plug, but not with USB power. any ideas? I don't own a female to male USB with ferrite bead but does anyone think that could work? thanks btw.

open your speakers to check if they have an added shielding around the speakers magnet, you'll know if they are magnetically shielded too, just in case  ?
