Tektronix TDS5054B hard drive problems

i got a Tektronix TDS5054B free from a bin and it is fine except for the hard drive having boot issues i do know there is a Sata port on it just wording if there is any way to get that to use that over a hard drive.  thank you for any help

Yes you can use an adapter to install a sata drive. I used this one https://www.amazon.ca/gp/product/B07QN9STY7/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 and 3dprinted a standoff to hold the drive correctly. The original metal plate need to be modified a little bit too since the drive is longer with the adapter.
