Tektronix TDS520A A11 processor board Capacitors

Hi All,

I just obtained a Tek TDS520A.

The A11 processor board is missing all the electrolytic caps and I can not find the values anywhere.

Most of them are fed from the same rail but there are a few that are not.


Any help would be much appreciated.

Seen on another forum :

Tek used five type of voltage +5 -5 +15 -15 and 24v

Tried in vain to find the schematics ...  maybe finding some pictures around the web would help a little ?

Any tek 520 fanboys here ?

Hi!

Download the free TDS520B Component Level Package from k04BB or the w140 Tek Wiki – I believe there are design differences between the TDS520A & TDS520B but it should give you a guide – there are schematics & parts lists in it, failing that I THINK you can get a "CLIP" (Component Level Information Package) from Artek Manuals for the 520/520A versions!

The TDS544A schematics are very similar. I shall order the caps and fit them then power up and pray.
