Tektronix TX1 / Fluke 183 need dump
« on: April 25, 2022, 09:45:55 am »
Hello everyone!
I bought a used Tektronix TX1 with a problem ... It needs calibration ... The instrument normally works but there are deviations when measuring AC and DC voltage, when measuring resistance it is within normal limits. As far as I researched the only way calibration is possible is through a computer and infrared port ... Since I don't have the proper equipment for the job I would ask if anyone might have a valid dump file for Tektronix TX1 or Fluke 183 ... Thanks everyone in advance

Thanks for the answer, but unfortunately I couldn't find on any link that someone offers a ready-made dump file for Tektronix TX1 or Fluke 183 ... Maybe I missed something somewhere ...?

Look again, towards the bottom of that particular message (there's a file attached named Fluke_183_original_working_dump_25LC160.hex).

No worries and good luck!
That fixed my "No Cal" message issue.
And, yeah, there is currently no info available on the commands to calibrate these meters.

Just to thank you because I finally solved the "UNCAL" problem, before the readings of AC DC voltages were in the deviation of about 500mV and now about 100mV. if I take into account that the factory itself is not as accurate as the slightly stronger Tektronix TX3 / Fluke 185 model, then I am satisfied. Only if someone knows where I could get a well-preserved case for Fluke 183 or 185 because that TX1 I bought is in a very bad condition ...? Thanks again! :-+
