The early repair of Agilent 54810A
GGMM:
hello,
I did some more checking today.
I confirm that the RAM is well powered.
That it is not defective. (Tests made with several memories).
Without a schématic, it’s a bit difficult.
I still found 2 things.
The F837 is very hot. I did not find any documentation. (Regulator??)
If anyone finds the documentation, I’m a taker.
The L1084S component which is an adjustable voltage regulator, gives 1.25V output, the value of voltage on its adjustable pin is 154mv, and the input voltage is 5v. Don’t heat it up.
Documentation here: https://www.alldatasheet.com/datasheet-pdf/view/157328/ETC/L1084S.html
The card worked well for several days. As it is a card that dates back 30 years, maybe just a capacitor to be out?. But, nothing to the naked eye (Leak , inflated, etc) no heating.
Ideas welcome.

hello,
After being busy on something else, I started testing again this video card 65550. ref: 54810-66505
It’s simple, I tried to insert it into the PCI port of a Daewoo CB656 motherboard, a Gigabyte K8NF9 card, and also another MSI card.
The observation is always the same, black screen.
If you put also a TEST Analyzer card in an other PCI port, there are only dashes on the display.
It worked on the original Atlas motherboard.
Some have changed their motherboard from their 54810.
An idea?
