Toshiba laptop L300 backlight
« on: February 27, 2019, 05:40:28 am »
When my Toshiba L300 laptop  is switched on , the display comes on fine for a couple of hours , but completely goes OFF after that. :-BROKE
The video display output is allrite since I can see a very faint image on the guess is that its either the CFL inverter or the CFL itself that's on its way out.
Any guesses on which I should replace first.....the inverter or the CFL itself?

its a crap 10 year old laptop, you could probably buy perfectly fine X220/X230 cheaper than another screen for this toshiba
but if you really want to, start with inverter
Who logs in to gdm? Not I, said the duck.
My fireplace is on fire, but in all the wrong places.
